In regards to the Murphy-Sugimoto reading:
-How are half-Japanese people viewed in countries that were colonized by Japan? -Is there a difference in how half-American hafu are viewed as opposed to hafu with one parent who is neither American nor Japanese? -How long until there are people living in Japan with quarter-Japanese children? In regards to the Green reading: -How were Japanese immigrants in the US viewed when compared to other East Asian immigrants? -Is the younger generation of Japanese more open-minded to immigration into Japan? -In several decades, would it be possible for the descendants of immigrants to be integrated into higher-level corporate jobs in Japan, or will they always hold mostly lower-skilled jobs?
